I can't believe Makena (my 1st born)is in the 1st grade. Everyone told me time would fly. It seems like yesterday when my water broke 4 weeks early, here at the radio station, and I was rushed to the hospital. I believe that's the 1st and only time I've ever been early to anything. And more recently than that, I remember being so stressed out about her starting kinder and not being with Daddy, Grandma or ME! By the time I know it, she'll be asking me to wear make up, go on a date, borrow my car, to BUY her a car and the list goes on and on. My parents said paybacks are hell. I'm in for it, cuz I caused a bit of drama with my parents, back in my day.
For the last 2 weeks it's been, "mommy, I can't believe I'm going to be in the 1st grade". All I can say is "I KNOW". I was so sad for CJ (2nd born). She kept on telling me she was going to miss "sissy" when she goes to school (she pronounces it "stool").
I'm not sure when Makena will start to get embarrassed by mom taking pictures, but I took few that I wanted to share with you.
